"I hope we shall crush in its birth the aristocracy of our monied corporations, which dare already to challenge our government to a trial of strength and bid defiance to the laws of our country."

Thomas Jefferson,
Letter to George Logan,
1816

This warning has gone unheeded until the turn of the 21st century. Now, it's time to stop them. Now is the critical time. The 2012 elections decide who wins.

A Visit to Occupy Houston (22:14, 16.3MB)

On November 2, 2011, I paid a visit to Occupy Houston. In this podcast, I present what I discovered to refute what the Right Wing has been saying about the organization.

In addition, I discovered something . . . interesting about them. There's something very good and wonderful about what has happened, but there's a ticking time bomb from the exact same source. There's a good side and a bad side to everything, but the bad side has been completely missed.

#OccupyTHIS!
(33:02, 22.6MB)

Twenty-four hours before recording this podcast, Occupy Denver was attacked by police, one of several cities targeted within a 36-hour period. Most escaped. For example, New York reached a compromise, and Houston "called their bluff". Seattle was less fortunate.

The demands for #occupywallstreet are....huh? I looked at the Occupy Wall Street website and it has "ONE demand" that isn't even decided yet! No wonder the Right Wing is having a field day! Just one (difficult to make work) and it's undecided (lack of planning).

Here's your remedy: ten possible demands. Please consider wisely.

NOTE: During the recording of this episode, Occupy Sydney (Australia) was raided by police, destroying tents and hauling everything away in two garbage trucks. They subsequently voted to stay by an overwhelming margin.

The Real Threat from Voter ID Laws
(24:23, 22.3MB)

Many states under Republican control have passed voter ID laws under great scrutiny. Charges of racism and more underscore the conflict.

Today, I take you inside several states and how they deal with it. All the bills were introduced and passed by Republican legislatures. Republican governors have signed them into law, while Democrats have vetoed them. But when you look at one key fact, it all makes sense. The game is bigger than we think....

Separation of Christians and State
(23:03, 15.8MB)

Right-wing Christians refuse to acknowledge Separation of Church and State. Some have never even heard of it. Using past podcasts and a little bit of new information, I explain why--and also reveal something about them nobody seems to realize.

The Muddled Media
(20:14, 13.9MB)

FoxNews and MSNBC have become mortal enemies. However, while FoxNews caters to the right and MSNBC caters to the left, both have the exact same base problem (as well as the same two reporters). What is that problem? What's making it so effective? And what may be going on that stops us from seeing proof?

Repostings of Episodes 3 and 8

This was a busy week for me, but I finally got the chance to take care of some problems with two previous episodes.

Episode 3
A Frightening Supreme Court Ruling
(16:19, 11.2MB)
Originally published January 30, 2010 with below par quality, this podcast is relevant to the current calls for Clarence Thomas to excuse himself from the Citizens United ruling because of conflict of interest.

Episode 8
The War of Business
(26:39, 18.2MB)
Originally published September 11, 2010 with terrible quality, this episode is now presented clean and clear. The first part deals with how businessman use a war manual for business. The latter part warned against electing Alan West to Florida District 22, which we now see was a good call on my part.

Quickies
(17:45, 12.1MB)

This week, I drop fifteen quick pieces on you, ranging from twenty seconds to two and a half minutes each. I touch on marketing (via a popular singer), print-on-demand publishing, Darwinism and genetically modified foods, and Twitter's 140-character limit, among other things.

A Debate With a Right Winger
(17:28, 12.0MB)

There's been a big debate over bills aimed at stopping abortions. In this episode, I recount a debate a right winger had with a liberal over the abortion of rape children. In the process, I show things the right does to make their point by not making their point. Don't worry, that will make sense in the episode. I also show how the liberal went for it, ending the debate negatively and in a way the conservative could (wrongly) call "winning".

I also became involved in this, and in doing so, I revealed something about myself that is relevant to the debate. I show how she tried the same distractionary tactic with me. Thanks to Twitter's 140-character limit, I'm calling her on her behavior in this podcast.

Refuting the Fundamentalist Mentality
(27:06, 18.6MB)

If you didn't know better, you'd think Fundamentalist Christians are the majority in the United States. Much like other groups, they are a deluded minority who is so outspoken they look bigger than they really are. That's why the GOP loves to cater to them by screaming about "Christian values".

As one who left the world of Fundamentalism, and still debates them from time to time, I am well-qualified to discuss the mistakes they make. In this episode, I address several of their many points and why they are wrong. In the process, you'll find ammunition for confrontations with them.

And I continue my efforts to hurt Corporate America. This week, however, I couldn't get the information I needed, so instead, it's time to support a strong non-profit.

But first, to my chagrin, I must give kudos to a very well-known Republican. Don't worry, it's nothing bad, just something I have to do.

And I'm sorry, but at times I may sound a little preachy. Just remember that I'm doing this as part of my war against the corporate takeover of America by undermining one of its targets.

Is Marketing Evil?
(23:42, 16.2MB)

In 2009. "Seth's Blog" responded to a Time Magazine comment on his opinion of marketing. That blog has been quoted countless times, but so far no site has fully addressed the issue. In this episode, I describe marketing, what it does, how it works, why it exists--and what they don't tell you. I also describe one group who uses it to its fullest extent in a way that would horrify its target audience if they knew what was going on.

Plus, I announce a change to the later segment of the show. Stay tuned....

The Dos and Don'ts of Protesting
(18:50, 12.9MB)

Glenn Beck's departure was in part because of a concerted effort by those who know what kind of person he is and wanted him gone. In this episode, I cover how it happened, as well as the common mistake that was not made, using three points from an article and three points I add myself.

And I've been trying to find local small businesses to assist in fighting Corporate America. This week, I give you a different weapon in a do-it-yourself manner.

An Eye-Opening Week
(18:50, 12.9MB)

Please note this episode was uploaded a week late.

Last weekend, I sent out a tweet that hinted at the first thing I tackle this week:

Having lunch with people praising Walker, Trump, and O’Reilly. I will be throwing up when I leave.

There were three statements I heard that got my attention--and a little bit of insight into the Conservative refusal to address the issues brought before them.

Then, I honor the upcoming passing of The Glenn Beck Show on FauxNews. I tweeted about this, too:

GOOD bye GLENN Beck ::clap clap clapclapclap:: GOOD bye GLENN Beck ::clap clap clapclapclap::

And a slight diversion in my quest to help small businesses overtake the corporations, as I take you to Madison, Wisconsin.

A Right-Wing Economics Lesson
(12:49, 8.1MB)

The right wing is made up largely of "Reagan Republicans". These are businessmen who believe in "supply-side economics", which Reagan instituted when he took office. It revealed the importance of revenue, but Republicans haven't paid any attention to that part of it, instead seeing the massive profits for corporations--and what it can do for them personally.

In this episode, I describe the history of supply-side economics and how the right wing views it, demonstrating how it almost destroyed America, then give the remedy--the very thing that protected America after the Great Depression.

And for my new segment, introduced last episode, I invite you to vacation using someplace many people think is just in Europe.

The Right Wing Will Say Anything!
(23:04, 39.9MB)

In this episode, I simply demonstrate how the right wing lies and creates fear to gain power, using anything from the Japan earthquake to attacking public radio, leading into a way to show the right wing who's boss in the battle for the airwaves.

Then I introduce a new segment, a way to fight back against the corporate taking of our money. You can actually help out with this!

A Logic Primer
(58:14, 39.9MB)

I previously talked about the lack of logic in "conservative logic". Basically, it's self-serving. So in this podcast, I use a speech by one of right-wing radios most recognizable names to demonstrate some of the key points of classical logic.

Sorry if this scares you. And I'm talking to you, right-wingers. And yes, that is a parable of Jesus that I go into at one point, but it ties into something I've been talking about for a while.

In the Aftermath Of Wisconsin
(23:29, 16.1MB)

Wisconsin is Ground Zero, a second 9/11 for unions. In this podcast, I explain why it happened and what we can do in responce. I also cover the background of the union concept and what both modern unions and the New Deal missed that could have stopped all this from happening in the first place.

And do you want to protest, but aren't the picketing type, or can't bring yourself to confront The Man? Well, I have a number of ways you can fight back against corporate greed.

And in the last podcast, and online, I said this podcast would be about marketing. At the start, I explain why it's not. It was one of the scariest moments in my life.

2010 In Review
(51:03, 35MB)

After invasions of privacy and microphone problems, the year-end review is finally here. I cover the election, Karl Rove, Burn-A-Koran Day, how drugmakers endangered your lives, BP, Rupert Murdoch, how rising unemployment is responsible for record profits, the Restoring Honor rally, Amy Goodman, and other, finishing up with a comical piece that I think is a statement on society in general, today.

Plus, I explain why I go by the moniker of "The AntiRepublican Warrior." Some of you have probably guessed by now.

And this took FOUR attempts to upload, finally forcing me to have my host put an ad at the beginning, so don't get too mad.

(19:02, 13.0MB)

We know the right lies. But why? In this podcast, we examine the inner workings of the leadership of the de factor spokespeople for the GOP, FoxNews, focusing on its top management and ownership.

Plus, there's a little something at the end that ties into what we're saying in a scary way. Hint: It's 60 years old.

And yes, I know I said I'd be doing an election review in this episode, but the holidays can really screw you around...

Where The Christian Right Goes Wrong
(25:12, 23.6MB)

Pat Robertson. James Dobson. Christine O'Donnell. They all spout far right-wing Christian views of everything. And they screw up our nation, while they're at it.

In this podcast, I discuss how the Evangelical churches use a faulty translation of the Bible to feed their fear of going to hell, which in turn would send them to hell. Then, I focus on one right-wing Christian liar and manipulator, in particular: David Barton of WallBuilders.

Privacy Matters
(25:35, 18.0MB)

The GOP now wants to repeal the Fourteenth Amendment, claiming it protects illegal immigrants. I take a closer examination at the Amendment and show you the real reasons they want the Amendment repealed.

Then I address another issue the GOP took up almost four decades ago, and has never let go of, since: Roe v. Wade. It's not about abortion, it's about something more personal to all of us.

And I take aim at my second target in the war on far right-wingnut nominees. Find out how one Connecticut nominee came under my wrath for taking Adolph Hitler out of context--and using it to attack Separation of Church and State.
